Lizzie is from Hatillo, Puerto Rico and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez Campus. She is a Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. student at UC San Diego and joined our lab in 2020. Lizzie is interested in exploring the cross-talk between medulloblastoma and the host immune system and how these interactions shape both the tumor and the host immune system over time, with the overarching goal of improving immunotherapies.
